We use the mind to experience external objects. The mind, which we use for the experience, 

我們會使用頭腦去分析外在的客體。頭腦是我們常使用的經驗，

is itself finite and can only have the experience of finite objects.

但它本身是有限的，並且只對有限的對象有經驗。

The mind borrows light to illumine the finite objects like  a mirror borrows the light of the sun in order to reflect an image.

頭腦借用光的樣子像一面鏡子借用太陽的光，以反映圖像照亮有限的對象。

If we take a mirror and face it to the sun, the reflected sun in the mirror will have certain qualities similar to the sun,

如果我們把一面鏡子，它面對太陽，在鏡子反射的陽光將有類似太陽，

such as being able to illumine a dark corner.

如同能照亮黑暗的角落。

However it can never be said to have the magnificence of the sun itself.

然而，它永遠不能說有像太陽本身的光芒。

There is no real comparison between the reflected image and the power of the real sun, 

那反射圖像和真實陽光之間，真正是無法的比擬的

which is billions of times more powerful.  

這是數十億倍能量的差距。

The existence of the reflected sun and the ability of the mirror to reflect are dependent upon the real sun.

反射的太陽的存在和鏡的反射能力真正取決於太陽。

We would never give credit to the mirror and say that it was the real sun because it only reflects a limited portion of the total power of the sun.

我們絕不會給予鏡子說，這是真正的太陽，因為它僅反映了太陽的總功率有限的一小部分。

In the same way,the mind and intellect (which are finite objects) take the reflection of the infinite Self which is within us,

and are able to illumine objects and give experience to the mind.We identify with that reflected sun, reflected ego, reflected mind as the real 'I', 'Iam

This false identification is the reason that there is no satisfaction in our lives

這個錯誤的辨識身分是什麼原因，在我們的生活中沒有圓滿
